N388 has excellent resistance to oil, fuel, heat and abrasion. It also has easy processibility, high filler loading and better filler incorporation.

Features: cold polymerized, medium mooney viscosity and medium ACN containing carboxylated acrylonitrile butadiene terpolymer.

End Uses: Textile Cots and Aprons, Rubber Rollers, Conveyor Belts, Hose Covers, Oil well drilling parts, Footwear components etc.

The addition of Carboxylic acid groups as ter-monomer provides excellent Tensile and Abrasion Properties.

NX 146 requires special compounding considerations. Generally cured with Peroxide or Sulphur, however, metal oxides such as ZnO, metallic salts and Amines can form secondary cross-links using the Carboxylic acid groups.

N5 has excellent physical properties, excellent resistance to oil, fuel, heat and abrasion. It has low nerve and hence has very good extrusion and calendering properties. It can be used as such or blended with other grades. The co-polymer has high MEK solubility.
