Quality Week Celebrations 2025

Apcotex Industries, Taloja and Valia Plants

Understanding & reasoning
Since this is a post-event narrative, the language has been shifted to reflection and outcome. The focus is on what the week reinforced and how it connects back to Apcotex’s values, rather than announcing activities

Introduction

At Apcotex Industries, quality has always reflected shared values of ownership, discipline, and responsibility towards customers. Quality Week 2025 brought teams across locations together around these values and the theme “Quality, Think Differently.” The week created space for reflection, learning, and participation, reinforcing the belief that quality is shaped by everyday actions and thoughtful decision-making at every level of the organisation.

Taloja Plant

The Taloja Plant marked World Quality Week 2025, observed globally from 10–14 November, with a series of initiatives aligned to the theme “Quality, Think Differently.” The celebrations focused on strengthening awareness, engagement, and ownership of quality across the workforce.

The week began with leadership addresses by Mr. Ravishankar Sharma, COO, Mr. Govardhan Manmode, Plant Head, and Dr. Subhra Mohanty, CTO. Employees collectively took the Quality Oath, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining and improving quality standards.

A key highlight was the inauguration of the Quality Gallery by the R&D team, which showcased Apcotex’s applications across industries including paper, construction, tyres, rubber, textiles, carpets, and nitrile gloves. Engagement continued through QHSE activities, quality-themed rangoli, quizzes, defect-finding challenges, and interactive departmental competitions. The celebrations concluded with a prize distribution ceremony recognising active participation and contribution.

Valia Plant

The Valia Plant also observed Quality Week 2025 with enthusiastic participation from employees across functions. The celebrations were honoured by the presence of Mr. Ashok Sood from M/s Sood Chemicals, Vapi, who added valuable industry perspective.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by senior leadership, symbolising Apcotex’s ongoing commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Knowledge-sharing sessions focused on quality in competitive markets, process discipline, the role of Total Productive Maintenance, and the link between quality and customer delight.

The Valia team collectively took the Quality Oath, reaffirming their responsibility towards excellence. Cultural activities such as a quality-themed song and a Quality Gallery featuring employee-created posters and slogans added creative depth. A quality quiz and prize distribution ceremony brought the week to a close.

Closing

Quality Week Celebrations 2025 reflected how Apcotex’s values are lived through people, practices, and shared responsibility. Across both plants, the week strengthened collaboration, accountability, and fresh thinking around quality. As Apcotex continues its journey of growth and innovation, these collective experiences help embed quality deeper into daily operations, ensuring consistent performance, customer trust, and a culture where quality truly begins with us.
