    At Apcotex, we proactively work towards reducing risks and creating a cleaner environment at our plant and its surroundings.

    In addition to our certification as a "GREENCO BRONZE" by CII as a green company, our ISO 14001: 2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications require us to assess our safety, pollution, and emission levels continuously.

    We are invested in reducing our consumption of non-renewable resources, adapting green processes, and managing our carbon and water footprint to benefit future generations.

    The company uses partly renewable power in its Taloja Plant. Our goal is to reduce dependence on grid supply by further using renewable sources.

    Our new Effluent Treatment Plant has set the benchmark for high environmental standards. We have also employed the necessary facilities to monitor and control various solid, liquid, and gaseous waste. Our Valia Plant will be installing Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) by early 2023.

    Our ESG framework is based on three strategic pillars. Together, all the pillars support our core purpose of using science responsibly for our planet, society, and stakeholders.

    The Responsible Care® program covers all aspects of our business, including environmental protection, resource conservation, occupational health and safety, process safety, transportation, product stewardship, purchasing, security, and social responsibility.

    A verification team ensures Apcotex maintains Responsible Care® practices and management systems every three years in order to maintain its Responsible Care® commitment.
